Poetry chapbooks for poets by poets.

I come from a graphics arts background so take it for granted sometimes just how easy it is to layout and produce a fairly inexpensive, professional looking chapbook. In all my years in the poetry community I’ve seen all sorts of “chapbooks” from Xeroxed handwritten notebook pages to slick vanity press editions. Many poets struggle with this aspect of getting chapbooks made and produced. I offer a middle-road, a nice professionally laid out and designed chapbook that can be printed inexpensively and get your work out there for local readings, friends, even bookstores. I also have the software, the templates, the fonts, etc. that most people just don’t have access to or the expertise to use.     

Face it, most chapbooks are boring.   

I can design to PDF, where you get a final electronic document and I provide you instructions on how to upload it to Kinko’s for production. This allows you to print (and pay) for only the copies you need, as you need them.   

Or if you want me to see it though, I can print though Ghost Rabbit Press and you will get a shipment of finished work in the mail.   

I strongly encourage poets to include as many images and graphics as possible to make the layout more interesting. Send .jpgs of your own pictures, sketches, or images you have the rights to, or that are copyright free.
